A dehumidifier is one part of a drying plan
Dehumidifiers lower moisture in the air. Results depend on the materials, water source, time wet, temperature, humidity, airflow, enclosure and equipment setup. Flooring, insulation, cabinets, drywall and concealed cavities may require removal or specialist drying methods.
EPA advises drying flooded materials as quickly as possible and notes that mold can grow when materials remain wet. Visible mold, sewage, chemical contamination or a flooded HVAC system requires the appropriate cleanup or service professional before ordinary equipment use.
Plan the rental, setup and pickup together
We review what got wet, how long it has been wet, whether standing water remains, source and contamination concerns, safe electrical capacity, unit location, airflow, condensate drainage, access for checks and pickup, and current equipment availability.
The two units are a limited inventory. Availability, delivery, setup, rental duration, pickup and price must be agreed in writing. If you need the equipment longer, arrange an extension before the agreed pickup. The San Diego up-to-20-hour equipment offer does not apply to this new Orange County and Long Beach coverage.
- Water source controlled and standing water removed.
- No unresolved sewage, chemical or unsafe electrical condition.
- Suitable power, placement area and condensate-drainage route.
- Authorized contact available for setup, access and pickup.
- Written duration and price approved before equipment remains onsite.
Clear limits prevent a false sense of completion
AWC does not provide full restoration, specialized structural drying, moisture mapping, psychrometric documentation, mold or asbestos remediation, sewage cleanup, environmental testing or clearance. Equipment run time alone does not establish that an assembly is dry or ready for paint, flooring or enclosure.
When a carrier, consultant, manufacturer or project specification requires readings or written clearance, arrange that service with the appropriate qualified provider. AWC can use the resulting repair criteria when preparing a construction scope.
Request a rental with the property details
Call or text 619-327-9513 with the exact address, water source, affected materials, date and time first wet, removal status, photos, power conditions and a proposed drain route. AWC confirms geographic coverage, suitability, inventory and terms before placement is scheduled.
Start with a complimentary photo review, usually the same day, or request a 15-minute site walk, typically within 48 hours. Timing depends on the property address and confirmed availability. This is an initial visual review of the damage and next steps. It does not include invasive investigation, moisture testing, clearance or repair work. Any chargeable investigation or work requires separate approval. Emergency water work is scoped and priced separately before it begins.
